Fernando Carrillo and his OnlyFans: the telenovela heartthrob who joined the platform in 2022

Does Fernando Carrillo have OnlyFans?

Yes. Fernando Carrillo, the Caracas-born actor who starred in Rosalinda and ¡Siempre te amaré!, opened his OnlyFans account (nicknamed the “página azul,” or blue page, in Latin America) in July 2022, when he was 56. He announced it himself on Instagram, and the news was reported by Primera Hora and La Nación. In August 2024 the Venezuelan daily Meridiano still described the profile as active, with a 20-dollar subscription. We found no reports that he has closed it.

Who is Fernando Carrillo?

He is one of Venezuela's best-known telenovela leading men. He was born in Caracas, according to Publimetro, and debuted in 1986 in La dama de rosa. His first leading role came two years later in Abigaíl, the telenovela where he met Catherine Fulop, whom he married in 1990. The marriage ended in 1994, while both were filming Cara bonita in Argentina, La Nación recalls.

In 1997 he moved to Mexico and worked with Televisa on productions that aired across the continent, including Rosalinda, ¡Siempre te amaré! and Soy tu fan, according to Primera Hora. He returned to Argentine television in 2016 on Bailando por un sueño, and in January 2023 he joined El Hotel de los Famosos 2 on El Trece, arriving with a crown and declaring himself the season's “king,” Caras magazine reported. Before moving to the platform he had said he was retiring from acting and running a cryptocurrency company.

How he announced his OnlyFans

In late July 2022 he posted a countdown on social media: “Coming soon, Only Fans,” he wrote, adding that this first season would be shot in Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico, the Philippines, Brazil and Argentina. In later posts he shared previews and promised that “the best is yet to come,” according to La Nación. At the time he had about 700,000 Instagram followers.

In an interview with the show Chismorreo, quoted by La Nación, he admitted he used to think the platform was only for adults and changed his mind when he saw that major international stars had profiles there. For him it was a way to get closer to his audience and keep up with younger generations.

What he has said about his earnings

In October 2022, during a YouTube conversation with Matilde Obregón, he said the account was bringing him between 50,000 and 200,000 dollars a month, a figure published by Publimetro México. He said he spent eight hours a day, three days a week on it, and that his wife, María Gabriela, was part of the team, helping with production, direction and wardrobe. At the time the subscription cost about 300 Mexican pesos, or 15 dollars, according to that outlet.

In 2024 Meridiano revisited a 2022 interview he gave to a Telemundo talk show in which he compared his OnlyFans income to a telenovela contract from 1999 or 2000, but working four days a month instead of almost every day. The subject also reached Argentine television: on Socios del Espectáculo, Rodrigo Lussich repeated those figures when the actor joined the El Trece reality show, Caras reported. These are figures he stated or the press repeated, not verified data. More profiles in our Venezuela section.
