Sergio Mayer opened OnlyFans in January 2024 after La Casa de los Famosos and a month later said he would close it. What he said, price and who he is.
Although he announced the closure, profiles using his name and groups promising his content for free keep appearing. His only official channels are the ones he links from his verified social media. Read our guide to spotting fake accounts.
He did. Sergio Mayer opened his OnlyFans account (nicknamed the “página azul,” or blue page, in Latin America) in January 2024, a few months after finishing fourth in the first season of La Casa de los Famosos México. In February of that year he announced he would close it at his daughters' request, although he said he would keep it active for a few months to honor the people who had already paid. Publimetro, SDP Noticias and El Imparcial reported this. We found no later reports that he returned to the platform.
He is an actor, singer and former member of the group Garibaldi, as Milenio notes. For a decade he was part of the show Solo para mujeres, according to Publimetro, a period he himself cited to explain his move to OnlyFans. Besides his entertainment career, he has also worked in politics: in March 2026 Por Esto described him as a congressman.
Reality TV gave him a second wave of fame. In 2023 he joined the first season of La Casa de los Famosos México, where he was part of the so-called Team Infierno, lived alongside Wendy Guevara, the winner of that edition, and made it to the final stretch in fourth place. In 2025 he was a panelist on La Casa de los Famosos All Stars, and in 2026 he entered the sixth edition on Telemundo as a surprise housemate, leaving as the third eliminated contestant after three weeks, according to Milenio and Por Esto. In July 2026 he said on TikTok that he had not been invited to the panel of the new Mexican season.
In mid-January 2024 Publimetro reported that the actor was preparing his account and planned to make the most of the exposure the reality show had given him. On January 25 Telediario and Quién reported that it was already active. Speaking to the press, Mayer said it was a matter of work and business, and that the money helped with his household expenses, including his daughters' school fees. He also answered critics with a line that was widely repeated: he did it “because I want to, because I can and because I have what it takes,” according to Quién.
He promised carefully produced, artistic photos and videos, and said his wife, actress Issabela Camil, helped him check details such as the lighting of the shoots. According to SDP Noticias and Publimetro, the subscription cost 341 pesos a month.
The reason was family. Issabela Camil said at an event that their eldest daughter did not like the project at all, and in February 2024 Mayer himself confirmed he would leave the platform. He said so at a promotional event for that year's Pride march, for which he was an ambassador.
He defended his work, saying his photos were made “with great quality and with great respect” and were not very different from what audiences had already seen in Solo para mujeres. Even so, he explained that he would do anything for his daughters and that the closure would not be immediate, because some subscribers had already paid for two or three months. SDP Noticias stressed that he was not leaving for lack of subscribers. See other cases in our Mexico section.
