Barby Juárez and OnlyFans: what the boxing champion announced

Does Barby Juárez have OnlyFans?

Who is Barby Juárez?

She is one of Mexico's most important female boxers. N+ reports that she is from Tlaxcala de Xicohténcatl, in the state of Tlaxcala, and that she turned professional on May 22, 1998, against Virginia Esparza, winning by knockout in the second round. She held the World Boxing Council flyweight title from 2011 to 2012 and the bantamweight title from 2017 to 2020; Mediotiempo calls her a three-time world champion.

Before the reality shows she had already appeared on Reto 4 Elementos and ¿Quién es la Máscara?, according to Mediotiempo. In June 2023 she entered La Casa de los Famosos México as housemate number 13, just hours after fighting in Ontario, California, where she lost to Mayeli Flores. On the show she lived with figures such as Wendy Guevara, Nicola Porcella and Sergio Mayer, and she was one of the last members of Team Cielo.

What she said about OnlyFans

The announcement came in October 2023, at a press conference where she presented her calendar while competing on Las Estrellas bailan en Hoy. According to SDP Noticias, she explained that the following year's calendar would be sold through OnlyFans. Récord and Fox Sports reported that the launch was planned for December.

The boxer set a limit from the start: her content would not be explicit. She said she owed that decision to her daughter, her audience and her sports career, and summed it up by recalling that she is an athlete, not a model or a promotional hostess. “I have to be very serious about what I do, because I am a mother,” she said, according to Fox Sports. She also made clear that she did not plan to live off the platform but to offer it as a gift to her followers, and Récord added that she mentioned possible collaborations with fellow contestants from the dance competition, in the same restrained style.

Was the account opened?

There is no confirmation. Fox Sports noted at the time that she had not yet revealed the price, and later coverage of her career contains no information about the launch, an opening date or a number of subscribers. If the account exists, the only reliable link would be the one she posts on her verified Instagram. See other cases in our Mexico section.
