Avery Poppinga and her paid page: the volleyball player sponsored by OnlyFans

Does Avery Poppinga have OnlyFans?

Yes. Avery Poppinga, a professional beach volleyball player who lives and trains in Southern California, opened her OnlyFans account in 2024 (these pages are nicknamed the “página azul,” or blue page, in Latin America) and in February 2025 became an officially sponsored athlete of the platform. Her VIP page cost 9.97 dollars a month in 2026, according to Front Office Sports and the New York Post. She told NewsNation the deal had changed her life.

Who is Avery Poppinga?

She is an American volleyball player who competed in college for Florida State and later for Loyola Marymount, in Los Angeles. She now plays professionally on the sand, both in the United States and on the world tour; the New York Post lists her among the elite athletes based in the Los Angeles area.

She comes from a volleyball family. According to her Florida State roster bio, her parents, Brian and Karrie Poppinga, both played professionally: he in Holland, and she in Germany and on the FIVB and AVP beach tours.

How she got to OnlyFans

Poppinga estimates that competing costs her around 50,000 dollars a year between flights, hotels, coaching, gym and gear, and that nearly all of it comes out of her own pocket. In 2024 she had a remote job when a friend, also a pro volleyball player, told her about the platform.

In February 2025 her former manager put her in touch with OFTV, the OnlyFans video channel with no adult content, and she signed a contract to film a series, wear the brand's merchandise at tournaments and promote it on social media. With that money, she told Front Office Sports, she can now pick any tournament she likes, take her coach abroad for the first time and chip in on her partner's costs.

What she charges and earns

She runs two pages. The free one had more than 17,000 followers in 2026. On the VIP page, more than 300 subscribers paid 9.97 dollars a month for exclusive content and direct messages; after the 20 percent cut the company keeps, that left her a little over 2,500 dollars a month, before tips and custom requests. She told NewsNation her content is mostly about volleyball and that her playing uniform is a swimsuit.

She stands by the decision: whatever people think, she believes wearing the OnlyFans logo brings attention to her sport. Her colleague Falyn Fonoimoana also has a sponsorship with the platform, and golfer Paige Spiranac is another athlete who sells subscriptions. See more profiles in our United States section.
