Violeta Sánchez and her OnlyFans: the Cantabrian surfer who signed with the platform

Does Violeta Sánchez have OnlyFans?

According to both papers, her channel is meant to show her sessions in the water, her training and the preparation behind her career. MARCA made clear that deals like hers do not, in themselves, involve posting adult content.

Who is Violeta Sánchez?

She was born in Santander in 2000, according to El Diario Montañés, and grew up in a family of surfers: she caught her first waves at age five between the beaches of Somo and Loredo, started competing at ten and at twelve joined a high-performance center, with Dani García as her coach throughout her competitive years.

Those years produced a long list of results. In 2022 SPORT listed one Spanish under-14 title, four under-16 titles and the Spanish junior championship, plus six regional titles and a call-up to Spain's open national team for the 2019 European Championship. While competing she finished her science baccalaureate and later a distance-learning degree in Marketing and Advertising at UNED.

At 19 she stepped away from competition because it had started to feel like an obligation, and moved into freesurfing: traveling in search of waves and producing videos and films for her sponsors. In 2024 she told El Diario Montañés that she spent half the year in Bali and the other half in Europe, and that she had just signed with the brand Protest, which joined Jeep and Full&Cas.

That partnership produced her best-known work. In October 2025 she released VIOLETA, a short film shot on an Indonesian island and directed by Pablo Bordas and Aljaz Babnik that marked her debut in the format, and in September 2026 she presented The Tropix, a trip along the coast of Mexico again directed by Babnik, according to AS.

When did she open her OnlyFans?

The announcement came in mid-October 2026: AS published it on the 14th, and MARCA later specified that both she and Yago Domínguez had joined that month. In her message, quoted by AS, Violeta Sánchez acknowledged that many people link the platform with a different kind of material, but argued that it is now betting on sport and supporting athletes directly.

A wave of surfers on OnlyFans

Her signing is not an isolated case. In Spain, Asturian surfer Lucía Martiño announced her deal in September 2025, and Basque surfer Alazne Aurrekoetxea followed soon after. Abroad, the company has added names such as Nathan Florence, Pedro Scooby and Maud Le Car, AS and MARCA recall.

In its report MARCA raised the underlying question: whether these contracts are a lifeline for sports where money is hard to find or a way to clean up the brand's image. The paper cited figures published in May by Front Office Sports, according to which some 285 professional athletes were using OnlyFans, and recalled the objections raised by the UCI, cycling's world governing body, to a mountain biker's deal with the brand.
