Leah McSweeney and her OnlyFans: the former Real Housewives of New York star who earns more there than on Bravo

Does Leah McSweeney have OnlyFans?

Yes. Leah McSweeney, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City, opened an OnlyFans account (nicknamed the “página azul,” or blue page, in Latin America) in October 2023. In March 2024 she said on a podcast that a single week on the platform had earned her more than a full season of the show, according to Page Six, OutKick and the Daily Mail. Her subscription cost 10 dollars a month at the time.

Who is Leah McSweeney?

She is a New York fashion designer, founder of the brand Married to the Mob, who rose to fame on Bravo. She joined Real Housewives of New York City in season 12 and stayed for season 13, the last two of the original cast before the network rebooted the show entirely. Later she took part in season three of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, the format that brings together figures from different cities of the franchise.

Page Six calculated that she was paid 3,000 dollars per episode in her first season and 10,000 in her second, about 255,000 dollars in total for the two. That is the figure she uses as a benchmark when she talks about what she earns today.

What she said about her OnlyFans

The interview that got people talking was on the podcast Sofia with an F, released on March 28, 2024. When host Sofia Franklyn asked whether she had made more in one week of OnlyFans than on the show, she said yes and went further: one week, she said, brings in more than an entire season. She wondered aloud why she had not done it sooner.

She admitted she hesitated at first over what people would think, but said she now laughs at the rumors about what she posts, which she called untrue. She described her content as a mix of glamour-style photos and humor, and praised the platform because, she said, nobody censors her there, there are no ads everywhere, and she feels supported and free to create. She did not reveal how many subscribers she has or an exact income figure.

She also spoke enthusiastically about the shoot she shared on the platform with The Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo, whom she now considers a close friend. In January 2025 she was invited to talk with OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair at a Variety session during the CES trade show in Las Vegas.
